North Dakota worksite wellness summit in Fargo on October 8

Looking for tips on how to get your workplace healthy? Want to improve the productivity of your business by starting a wellness program for employees?

Consider attending North Dakota’s premier workplace wellness event. The Healthy North Dakota Worksite Wellness Summit will be held in Fargo on Tuesday, October 8.

More than 200 business and health leaders from across the state and region will converge on the Fargo Holiday Inn to share employee wellness best practices.

The summit will include info about how to start an employee wellness program, how to create a successful wellness committee and presentations about stress and how to encourage employees to pick up healthy habits. Attendees will also hear how Cass County Electric Cooperative’s employee wellness program has helped employees to live healthier lifestyles. Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota will also provide an update on health care reform implications for businesses and wellness programs.

Please consider registering and attending this year’s worksite wellness summit. The summit is put on by Healthy North Dakota Worksite Wellness, which was launched in 2009 by Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota, the Dakota Medical Foundation and the North Dakota Department of Health. As The Official Sponsor of Recess, Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota supports opportunities for North Dakotans of all ages to get active and healthy.
